Who we are

Money Tree: Save & Grow ("Money Tree", "the app") is operated by Doalier Pty Ltd, an Australian company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have.

What we collect

Account details — name, email address, and (optionally) phone number when you sign up. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
Financial data — when you choose to connect a bank, we receive read-only account, balance, and transaction data through regulated Open Banking providers: in Australia via the Consumer Data Right (Fiskil, Basiq), and in the United States via Plaid. We never see or store your bank login credentials, and we cannot move money.
App activity — features you use inside the app (budgets, goals, streaks) and a device token if you enable push notifications.

How we use it

To provide the app's features: budgets, spending insights, savings goals, cash-flow forecasts, and round-up tracking.
To send notifications you can switch off per type in the app.
If you use the optional assistant, summaries of your financial data are processed to answer your questions.

We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who we share it with

Open Banking providers (Fiskil, Basiq, Plaid) — to establish and maintain the bank connections you authorise.
Apple — to process subscription purchases; we never see your payment details.
Infrastructure providers (Amazon Web Services) — who host our systems under contractual data-protection obligations.

Retention and deletion

Disconnecting a bank in the app deletes the financial data held for that connection.
You can permanently delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete Account). This removes your account and all associated data from our systems and deregisters you with every connected Open Banking provider.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS), access to bank data is read-only, and consent for Australian data is managed under the Consumer Data Right framework, which lets you view and revoke consents at any time.

Your rights

Australian users have rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Consumer Data Right; you may request access to or correction of your personal information. To exercise any right, or for any privacy question, contact us and we'll respond promptly.
